Project information
This significant state highway project upgraded the 38 km stretch of Savli-Timba Road (SH) to a four-lane configuration, expanding from the existing two-lane setup to improve capacity, safety, and traffic flow in Vadodara District's rural and industrial corridor. Works included widening the carriageway, pavement strengthening, drainage improvements, shoulder enhancements, and structural upgrades for better durability and high-speed performance. The initiative enhances regional connectivity, supports industrial movement (especially around Savli GIDC area), reduces congestion and travel time, and promotes economic growth in the surrounding semi-urban and rural zones.
