Project information
This state highway improvement project widened the existing carriageway from 5.5 meters to 10 meters and strengthened the pavement over a 17.7 km stretch to accommodate higher traffic loads and improve road safety. Key works included pavement reconstruction/overlay, shoulder widening, drainage improvements, and structural enhancements for enhanced durability and all-weather usability. The upgrade boosts connectivity in the Savli industrial and rural belt, facilitating smoother movement of goods, reduced travel time, and supporting economic development in Vadodara District's peripheral areas.
