This safety enhancement project on the six-laned Vadodara-Bharuch section of NH-48 constructs a Vehicular Underpass (VUP), Canal Underpass (CUP), service roads, and wing walls at Dena Junction to eliminate at-grade crossings and significantly improve road safety. Works include excavation, RCC box/underpass structures, approach ramps, service road paving, drainage integration, and structural reinforcements with a bridge cost of ₹20.10 Crore. The initiative reduces accident risks at this busy junction, ensures smoother traffic flow for high-speed vehicles, minimizes conflicts with local/cross traffic, and enhances overall connectivity and safety on this critical Golden Quadrilateral corridor in Gujarat.
