Project information
This Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) project upgrades the existing single/two-lane road to a 2-lane configuration with paved shoulders over approximately 56 km to improve capacity, safety, and ride quality on this hilly terrain section of NH-58. Works include carriageway widening, pavement strengthening, realignment in 14 stretches, drainage enhancements, and safety features to handle increased traffic and challenging geography. The upgrade enhances connectivity linking Gujarat-Rajasthan border areas, supports tourism to places like Ambaji Temple and Polo Forest, reduces travel time, and boosts regional economic development in northern Gujarat.
