Project information
This pavement improvement project applies bituminous overlays at multiple distressed sections along the 117.571 km Ahmedabad-Godhra corridor of NH-47, excluding already overlaid portions, to restore surface quality, enhance ride comfort, and extend pavement life under heavy traffic. Works include milling of damaged layers where needed, tack coating, laying dense graded bituminous concrete (DBM/BC) overlays, and minor drainage/safety upgrades. The initiative maintains smooth, safe travel on this vital east-west highway, reduces vehicle operating costs, minimizes disruptions, and supports efficient connectivity between Ahmedabad and Godhra regions in Gujarat.
