Project information
This state highway upgradation project converted the initial 6 km section of Ankleshwar-Valiya Road (SH) into a four-lane configuration to increase capacity, improve traffic flow, and enhance safety in the industrial gateway area. Works included carriageway widening, pavement strengthening, median construction, shoulder improvements, drainage enhancements, and structural upgrades for high-load durability and all-weather performance. The initiative significantly boosts connectivity from Ankleshwar's major industrial hub (GIDC) towards Valiya, supports heavy vehicular movement, reduces congestion, shortens travel time, and promotes industrial and economic development in Bharuch District.
