Project information
This state highway improvement project widened and strengthened the 19.6 km road to enhance capacity, load-bearing ability, and safety for increased traffic in Bharuch District's tribal and industrial areas. Works included carriageway expansion, pavement reconstruction/overlay, shoulder improvements, drainage upgrades, and structural enhancements for durable, all-weather performance. The upgrade improves connectivity linking Valia and Jhagadia regions, facilitates smoother movement to nearby industrial zones and rural areas, reduces travel time, and supports economic development in the district.
