Project information
This Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) project widened and strengthened the 37 km section of the state highway to improve load-bearing capacity, safety, and traffic efficiency in Bharuch District's key corridor. Works included carriageway expansion, pavement overlay/reconstruction, shoulder enhancements, drainage improvements, and structural upgrades for durable, all-weather performance. The upgrade enhances connectivity linking industrial hubs like Ankleshwar GIDC to surrounding areas, reduces congestion, shortens travel times, and supports economic and logistical growth in the region.
