Project information
This key highway upgradation project converted the existing road into a four-lane configuration over Km 16/280 to 44/000 to increase capacity, enhance safety, and improve traffic efficiency in Vadodara District's important corridor. Works included carriageway widening, pavement strengthening, drainage improvements, shoulder enhancements, and structural upgrades for durable, high-speed performance. The initiative significantly boosts connectivity between Vadodara, Padra, and Jambusar, facilitating smoother movement of goods and people, reducing congestion, and supporting economic and industrial growth in the region's semi-urban and rural areas.
